My old Canon S200 seemed to take sharper pics, but this difference isn&#8217;t noticeable unless you zoom in.  Here&#8217;s two sample pics of a sunrise up at the lake.<\/p>\n<p>The camera does have an incredible zoom, 10x, for its size. The first pic is of the sunrise without zooming, the second is a full zoom:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/timony\/1003149429\/\" title=\"Photo Sharing\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1234\/1003149429_6d19771e7e_m.jpg\" alt=\"Sunrise\" height=\"240\" width=\"180\" \/><\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/timony\/1003149773\/\" title=\"Photo Sharing\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1221\/1003149773_0b83129aac_m.jpg\" alt=\"Sunrise @ the lake\" height=\"240\" width=\"180\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I got the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newegg.com\/Product\/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16830180096\">camera<\/a> on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newegg.com\/\" title=\"NewEgg.com\">NewEgg.com<\/a> for less than $300, and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newegg.com\/Product\/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227234\" title=\"SDHC Card\">4GB SDHC<\/a> card for $38, it also came with a free 1GB card, but I felt that it would be too small for extended trips.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I got the Panasonic DMC-TZ3 for my birthday, which was July 10th!
